Kingsway Medical Centre serves the whole of Billingham as well as its surrounding villages.

Our team includes :

Four GP partners, three Nurse Practitioners, two Practice Nurses, one Health Care Assistant as well as our Practice Manager and reception and admin teams.

We also have District Nurses, Health Visitors and Midwives who provide community services for our patients.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children, patients with long term conditions and for patients needing minor surgery.

We have an automated arrival system in the waiting room which you can use to let your doctor/nurse know you have arrived. This will save you time in not having to report to reception.

Disabled parking spaces are available and the building has been designed to be user-friendly for disabled people. We would be happy to discuss any additional requirements disabled patients may have.

We are an accredited Training Practice. Our current GP Registrars are Dr Hope Emuh and Dr Bankole Oni

Patients registered with Kingsway Medical Centre have a named GP.

  • If you have a repeat prescription, the name of your accountable GP will be printed on the bottom of the right hand page of the prescription.
  • For patients who have electronic prescriptions, or where the Pharmacy order medication, the Pharmacy staff will be able to give you any messages or information on your prescription.
  • If you do not have a repeat prescription and wish to know who your allocated GP is, please ask at your next appointment.

At Kingsway Medical Centre, the GPs work closely together; this change does not prevent you from seeing any doctor at the practice. Please be aware that due to holidays and other commitments, your named GP may not always be available. If you request an emergency appointment, this will be with any of the doctors who have available appointments.
