On-line appointment booking


Following our recent practice survey, the action plan which has been agreed with the Patient Participation Group is to have a permanent campaign to raise awareness of the on-line appointment booking system.  Individual feedback from members of the Patient Participation Group have included :

    • Younger patients should be encouraged to book on-line, this age range may have access to PCs, smart phones and tablets.

    • I find the new online system excellent for just about everything.  More people should use it instead of the telephone, and more people of my age (75) should get involved on-line.

    • Increased on-line appointment booking would relieve pressure from the phone system.
